What is the Archie Williams Falcon Foundation?
The Archie Williams Falcon Foundation is a volunteer-led nonprofit dedicated to enriching the educational experience of every Archie Williams student. Through the generosity of families, alumni, local businesses, and community members, we fund innovative programs, classroom resources, athletics, arts, wellness initiatives, student activities, teacher appreciation, family engagement, and other opportunities that enhance the high school experience.
Why does Archie Williams need a foundation?
California public schools receive funding for core educational programs, but many of the opportunities that make Archie Williams exceptional depend on community support. The Falcon Foundation helps bridge that gap by funding innovative programs, classroom resources, wellness initiatives, arts, athletics, student leadership, and other experiences that elevate the high school experience for every Falcon.
How long has the Falcon Foundation been around?
The Foundation was established in 2000 as the League for Excellence in Academics at Drake. In 2011, it became The Drake Fund, and in 2021, following the school's name change, it became the Archie Williams Falcon Foundation.
Does Archie Williams have a Parent Club?
Yes—but it looks a little different than at many schools. The Falcon Foundation serves as both the school's educational foundation and parent organization, supporting fundraising, volunteer engagement, community-building events, family education, and staff appreciation.
