What is the AWHS Falcon Foundation?
The Falcon Foundation is a volunteer board working together to enhance the high school experience for all students at Archie Williams High School. We fund academics, arts, athletics, student activities, family education and community-building events, wellness programs, and school facility needs with support from families and local businesses.
What types of needs does the Falcon Foundation support?
The Falcon Foundation supports needs in any of the following areas: academics, arts, athletics, facilities improvements, student activities & clubs, student health & wellness programs, family education, staff & student appreciation and community building events.
When was the Falcon Foundation established?
The foundation was originally established in 2000 and was known as the League for Excellence in Academics at Drake. In 2011, that organization evolved into the Drake Fund and was very similar to what you know today. The name then changed to AWHS Falcon Foundation in 2021 to coincide with the school name change.
Does Archie Williams High School have a Parent Club?
No. Archie Williams High School has only one organization. The Falcon Foundation serves as both school foundation and parent club. Click here to see all that we do.
What is the Falcon Foundation revenue goal this year?
We raised just over $490,000 in revenue last year. This year, we have a goal of surpassing that amount which will help us further enrich the experience of students, teachers, staff, and parents at Archie Williams High School.

Can I make a donation by check?
While we prefer donations by credit card, we are happy to accept check donations. Please complete a Campaign Donor Form and mail it along with a check made out to "AWHS Falcon Foundation" to AWHS Falcon Foundation at 1327 Sir Francis Drake Blvd., San Anselmo, CA 94960.
Can I set up a monthly donation?
Can I change or stop my monthly donations?
Yes. At any point, you may go to https://donorbox.org/user_session/new to access your account to change the monthly amount, the date on which donations are made or cancel the monthly plan.
When I make a credit card donation, why am I asked to cover the processing fee?
This is completely optional. The fundraising platform we use gives us the ability to ask our donors to cover our processing fees. These fees (which cover the use of the platform and our credit card processing fees) are estimated at 3.09% + 30c. When donors pay these costs, it allows us to spend more on Archie Williams High School students.
What is the annual "ask?"
We ask each family to donate $850, but know that we welcome all support levels. Your donation can be made in one lump sum or in monthly payments, at whatever level fits your budget. What is most important to us is that all families participate.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes. The AWHS Falcon Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) organization. Federal Tax ID # 91-2033279.
Will I get a receipt for my tax records?
Yes. Once your donation is processed, you will receive a donation receipt by email or mail. If for some reason, you don't get a receipt or need additional documentation, please email us at [email protected].
Can I take advantage of my company’s matching program?

- Enter the amount you would like to donate monthly, click "Monthly" and then "Next."
- Enter your first and last name, your email address and your student(s) grade (if applicable).
- Check whether or not you wish to cover the processing fees or not and the click "Next" to enter your credit card information.
- You will then receive two emails: a tax receipt for the donation amount and an email asking you to create a password.
- You now have an account where you can log in to manage your monthly donation amounts, credit card, etc.
