The Falcon Foundation is proud to support a strong and inclusive athletics program at Archie Williams, with over 60% of students participating in at least one sport. Each year, Foundation funding helps provide resources that benefit student-athletes and athletic programs across the school's 45+ teams.
HOW ATHLETICS ARE FUNDED
Athletics at Archie Williams is supported through several different funding sources. Understanding what each one supports can help families see how the pieces work together.
DISTRICT & ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT FUNDING
The Tamalpais Union High School District and AWHS Athletic Department provide the core funding and infrastructure needed to operate the school's athletic program, including coaching, facilities, uniforms and other essential program expenses.

The Falcon Foundation supplements District funding by supporting needs that strengthen athletic programs and expand opportunities for students across teams.

INDIVIDUAL TEAM FUNDRAISING
Teams may also raise funds for team-specific needs and activities that fall outside District and Falcon Foundation funding - items such as personal swag, team dinners and senior celebrations. Team fundraising is coordinated through the Athletic Department and is separate from giving to the Falcon Foundation.
WHY SUPPORT THE FALCON FOUNDATION?
When families give to the Falcon Foundation, they aren't supporting just one team. Their contributions help us invest in athletics-and academics, arts, wellness and student programs-across Archie Williams. Foundation funding allows us to respond to needs across athletic programs and help provide opportunities for students regardless of which sport they play.

The Falcon Foundation Athletic Committee manages and distributes the Foundation funds allocated to athletics each school year.
The committee includes Falcon Foundation Board members, the Athletic Director, the Assistant Principal overseeing athletics and parent volunteers. The committee meets throughout the school year to review requests and determine how Foundation athletic funds can have the greatest impact.

Coaches seeking Falcon Foundation funding should complete an Funding Request Form and submit it, along with any supporting documentation, to:
